LAHORE: Lahori Gur Mela 2021 was held on 31st January 2021 at Meadows Resorts, Lahore - Pakistan under the auspices of the International Council of Traditional Sports and Games (ICTSG) and AgriTourism Development Corporation of Pakistan.
Traditional games are leisure and recreation activities which can have a ritualistic character. They are part of a diverse universal heritage and are practiced in an individual or collective manner and promote global health and peace. It is necessary to preserve and promote these indigenous games, hence in this regard 14th August has been declared as the International Day of Traditional Sports and Games.
TSG Delegation headed by President ICTSG Mr. Khalil Ahmed Khan visited South Korea in the month of March 2019 to discuss the possible cooperation for the promotion of traditional sports and games in South Korea.
KOT FATEH: Prince Malik Atta Memorial Festival and Tent Pegging Cup 2021 was held at Kot Fateh Khan from 26 February 2021. The event was organised in the memory of the late Prince Malik Atta Muhammad Khan, chief of Kot Fateh Khan and a legend in the world of tent pegging and bull racing.
