ICTSG Upholds Integrity and Transparency in Governance: Mr. Shammi Rana’s Affiliation Terminated

31st Jan, 2025– Sierra Leone – The International Council of Traditional Sports and Games (ICTSG) reaffirms its unwavering commitment to transparency, ethical leadership, and institutional integrity in safeguarding the legacy of Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) globally. As part of its strict governance and accountability framework, ICTSG announces that Mr. Shammi Rana is no longer affiliated with the organization in any capacity.
Following an extensive review by the ICTSG Disciplinary Committee, it has been determined that Mr. Rana engaged in misconduct and abuse of authority during his tenure as General Secretary. Consequently, his appointment has been officially terminated with immediate effect. Additionally, the Committee has established that Mr. Rana’s claims of holding the position of CEO within ICTSG were fraudulent, as no such role exists within the organization.
To uphold the credibility and governance structure of ICTSG, all appointments, designations, and memberships issued by Mr. Rana—whether under his former role or the falsely assumed title of CEO—are declared null and void ab initio. All stakeholders, partners, and affiliates are advised that any communication or engagement with Mr. Rana regarding TSG shall not be recognized by ICTSG and is deemed unauthorized.
