Where Are Our Offices? The International Council of Traditional Sports and Games (ICTSG) operates as a truly global institution, with official offices strategically located across five continents. These offices serve as vital regional hubs, enabling ICTSG to effectively engage with diverse communities, governments, cultural institutions, and international bodies in its mission to preserve and promote Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) worldwide. At the core of our operations is our Headquarters in Florida, USA. This central office is the seat of international coordination and strategic leadership, managing global outreach, partnerships, and program development. It is here that the vision of ICTSG is translated into impactful global action, in alignment with the principles of UNESCO and the Sustainable Development Goals. In Kyoto, Japan, ICTSG maintains its East Asia Regional Office, rooted in one of the world’s richest cultural heritages. This office fosters collaboration across the Asia-Pacific, promoting the integration of TSG into educational systems and cultural policies, while also engaging youth and communities in revitalizing ancestral games. Our Secretariat and South Asia Regional Office in Lahore, Pakistan manages daily administrative operations and regional coordination across South and Central Asia. It plays a key role in connecting traditional practitioners with global platforms, and supports documentation, research, and the revival of endangered traditional games. In Europe, the ICTSG Regional Office in Cannes, France stands as a symbol of cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue. This office leads engagement with European institutions, NGOs, and heritage organizations to promote TSG as a valuable component of Europe’s cultural mosaic and intangible heritage policies. Finally, our Africa Regional Office in Lusaka, Zambia is a dynamic center for promoting traditional African games and indigenous knowledge systems. This office collaborates closely with communities, youth organizations, and cultural ministries to ensure that Africa’s vibrant traditions are preserved, practiced, and passed on to future generations. Together, these five official offices—in the United States, Japan, Pakistan, France, and Zambia—embody ICTSG’s vision of unity through diversity. Each regional base plays a vital role in building a future where Traditional Sports and Games are not only remembered, but respected, celebrated, and lived by people around the world. Wherever our offices are located, our mission remains universal: to safeguard the spirit of traditional sports as a bridge between generations, cultures, and nations.
