The Research and Publication Commission of the International Council of Traditional Sports and Games (ICTSG) was officially constituted on June 2, 2020, by the ICTSG Executive Board. The commission is responsible for conducting research and publishing scholarly works on Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) to preserve and promote indigenous sporting heritage. Members of the Research and Publication Commission:

Mr. Muhammad Shahid Islam (Pakistan) – Chairman Mr. Muhammad Shahid Islam serves as the Chairman of the Research and Publication Commission. Actively engaged in sports since 2006, he holds an M.Sc in Sports Sciences and also serves as the Deputy Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board.

Professor Ravi Sahu (India) – Secretary Professor Ravi Sahu is the Secretary of the Research and Publication Commission. He was a Member of the UNESCO Advisory Committee’s Working Group on Traditional Sports and Games.(2017-2019). Additionally, he is the President of the Indian Association on Sports for All and the Head of the Sports Management Program at MIT-WPU SOM, Pune, India. With a Masters in Management Sciences (MBA - Marketing), he has played a pivotal role in enhancing sports participation and management worldwide. Other Members of the Commission:
