Her work aligns deeply with UNESCO’s values on the preservation of intangible cultural heritage. Prof. Zimmermann has been a leading voice in research and action promoting traditional games, especially within marginalized and indigenous communities. She brings to ICTSG a unique combination of academic excellence, field experience, and cultural sensitivity. Her efforts reinforce the Council’s mission to preserve, protect, and promote TSG as a legacy for future generations.
