Traditional sports and games (TSG) can form the backbone of a community, and they have to be promoted to further community spirit, bring people together and generate a sense of pride in a society’s cultural roots. Most of the traditional games and sports, expressions of indigenous cultures and ways of life contributing to the common identity of humanity, have already disappeared and those that have survived thus far are threatened with imminent extinction under the combined effect of globalization and the harmonization of the rich diversity of our world sports heritage.Traditional Sports and Games have become an added value in terms of cultural comprehension and mutual tolerance both within the community of nations and between them, thus contributing to the edification of a culture of Peace. Following are the guidelines for applying official bid/HCC for the World Traditional Sports and Games. 1.    What is your principal motivation for seeking to host the Games? 2.    What would be the impact and legacy of your country/host city from hosting the World Traditional Sports and Games? 3.    Should your bid to host the World Traditional Sports and Games be successful, how would the Organising Committee be structured? Please include an organizational chart including details of the proposed relationship with the International Council of Traditional Sports and Games. In addition, please provide details of your proposed committee structure including brief biographies of the key figures together with their previous experience in organizing similar events along with a staffing plan and an outline of your volunteer program. 4.    Specify which public or private organizations or bodies would be represented on your Organising Committee and their respective level of authority. 5.    What level of support has been provided towards your bid and also the hosting of World Traditional Sports and Games through various levels of Government, for example, national, regional, and local government?
