He is widely respected for his contribution to combat sports development and traditional games promotion across the Arab region and beyond.A retired Colonel of the Kuwait Army, Dr. Aljaser built his leadership foundation through years of disciplined military service. Parallel to his military career, he devoted his life to the study, practice, and instruction of martial arts, formally serving as a Professor of Martial Arts since 1977.Dr. Aljaser holds a PhD in Alternative Medicine, integrating sports science with holistic health, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. His lifelong dedication to discipline, education, and institutional development continues to shape the future of combat and traditional sports across the Arab world. هشام صالح الجاسر يُعدّ الدكتور هشام صالح الجاسر أحد أبرز القيادات الكويتية في المجال العسكري والأكاديمي والرياضات القتالية، إضافة إلى كونه شخصية دولية مرموقة في الإدارة الرياضية، حيث يمتد عطاؤه المهني لأكثر من أربعة عقود في ميادين الدفاع، والتعليم، والحوكمة الرياضية محلياً وإقليمياً ودولياً.خدم د. الجاسر في الجيش الكويتي حتى رتبة عقيد، وتقاعد بعد مسيرة مشرفة اتسمت بالانضباط والقيادة والمسؤولية الوطنية. وبالتوازي مع مسيرته العسكرية، كرّس حياته لدراسة وتدريب الفنون القتالية، ويعمل أستاذاً للفنون القتالية منذ عام 1977.يحمل د. الجاسر درجة الدكتوراه في الطب البديل، ويجمع في خبرته بين علوم الرياضة والصحة الشمولية وإعادة التأهيل ورفع كفاءة الأداء البدني، الأمر الذي يمنحه مكانة فريدة على المستويين الأكاديمي والرياضي.يحمل الدرجات الدولية التالية في الفنون القتالية:• الحزام الأسود التاسع (9 دان) – الجوجيتسو  • جراند ماستر – المواي تاي  • الحزام الأسود الرابع (4 دان) – كيوكوشن كاي كاراتيه  • الحزام الأسود الأول (1 دان) – الكيندو (اليابان)  • الحزام الأسود الرابع (4 دان) – سيلات سيني جايوغ (ماليزيا)أسّس د. الجاسر عدداً من اللجان والهيئات الرياضية المتخصصة، من بينها: لجنة الـ JJIF، ولجنة الكيوكوشن، ولجنة المواي تاي، كما يشغل حالياً منصباً قيادياً في منظمة الـ WAKO للكيك بوكسينغ. وأسهم من خلال هذه الهيئات في وضع الهياكل التنظيمية ونظم الاعتماد والتصنيف وإدارة البطولات.خدم د. الجاسر في اللجنة الأولمبية الكويتية (KOC) خلال الفترة من عام 2004 إلى عام 2021، وكان له دور محوري في برامج إعداد اللاعبين، ووضع المعايير الفنية، وتمثيل دولة الكويت في المحافل الدولية، وتعزيز إدماج الرياضات القتالية ضمن الحركة الأولمبية.ويشغل حالياً منصب منسق إقليم الوطن العربي في المجلس الدولي للرياضات والألعاب التقليدية (ICTSG)، حيث يقود جهود الحفاظ على التراث الرياضي، وتعزيز التعاون الإقليمي، وتوسيع المشاركة العربية في الفعاليات الدولية للألعاب التقليدية.يُعرف الدكتور هشام صالح الجاسر دولياً بصفته قائداً عسكرياً رفيعاً، وأستاذاً وخبيراً دولياً في الفنون القتالية، وأحد رواد الحوكمة الرياضية في المنطقة، وسفيراً للرياضات التقليدية والثقافية. ولا يزال عطاؤه المتواصل يسهم في رسم ملامح مستقبل الرياضات القتالية والتقليدية في الوطن العربي.
