These are the official highlights of Day 2 of the 4th UNESCO Collective Consultation on Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) held in 2018. The meeting gathered representatives from various countries to discuss strategies for the safeguarding and promotion of traditional sports worldwide. Key discussions focused on policy development, global collaboration, and the integration of traditional sports into mainstream sports policies. Establishment of International Platform as International Council of Traditional Sports and Games (ICTSG) as an external body of UNESCO, Women empowerment through TSG was on the top of the agenda. Formal approval of the ICTSG's statutes were given. Participants of the event also signed a special resolution empowering the Chairman Adhoc Advisory Committee/President of ICTSG to do all or any act whatever he deems fit to promote and revive the Traditional Sports and Games around the World. The logo of TSG was also approved by the participants of the 4th Collective Consultation meeting on TSG. Chairman UNESCO AAC on TSG Mr.Khan also awarded the hosting rights to the representatives of Kazakhstan who's bid for the 1st World Traditional Games was approved by the house. The meeting end with the vote of thanks to the local organizers and the participants by the UNESCO Secretariat.
