Women Committee Launched – A Global Step Forward in Traditional Sports and Games The International Council of Traditional Sports and Games (ICTSG) is proud to announce the formation of the Women Committee — a specialized body that brings together women leaders, players, researchers, educators, and cultural contributors dedicated to the world of Traditional and Indigenous Sports (TSG). The committee will act as an official ICTSG platform for organizing events, conducting mentorship programs, guiding policy inclusion, and elevating the voices of women at every level of traditional games globally. 🌍 Regional Outreach and Representation The ICTSG Women Committee will function through structured sub-chapters in each region where ICTSG maintains active partnerships and national chapters. These include:

🎯 Purpose and Scope The committee’s main goal is to provide dedicated attention to “Women in TSG” — ensuring equity, recognition, and growth. It will also work toward the publication of the 2026 “Women in TSG” series featuring interviews, field stories, and global examples of impact. Key mandates:

Host bi-annual sessions and forums Support mentorship and learning programs Bridge cooperation with ministries and national bodies Lead research, interviews, and archives of women in TSG Celebrate cultural diversity through gender-inclusive events

💼 Formal Proceedings & Recognition As per ICTSG’s internal protocol, the Women Committee will function under formal resolutions, participate in global ICTSG Summits, and contribute to strategic outcomes tied to the UN Sustainable Development Goals:
